All That Shabu

It’s our first time eating at All That Shabu in the city of Alhambra, CA. It is an AYCE shabu-shabu. It was an okay experience, nothing to be excited about. Plenty of vegetables and seafood ingredients to choose from to add to your soup pot. Their meat choices are also okay, of average quality. There are plenty of hot food items available at the buffet counter, which i really enjoyed. This is actually what differentiates this place from the other AYCE shabu-shabu restaurants I’ve been to. The service is great! The servers are very nice and friendly. There was plenty of tables and are spread out around the restaurant. The only CON eating here is the meat ordering. Normally, in other places, the meat order is 2-3 meat orders per person, even if you are dining as a group. Everyone has their own meat preference right. Here at All That Shabu, it is 3 meat orders per table, no matter how big your party is. Also, they are pretty good with keeping tabs on their 90 minutes time limit. We were handed our bill with only fifteen minutes left and the server asked us for our last call order for meats. Overall, we still had a great experience and enjoyed our meals. Prices as of today is $26.99 for weekdays lunch up to 3:00 pm, then $33.99 for weekdays dinner, and all day weekend. All prices includes fountain drinks with free refills. We are definitely going back, if we are in the area. Thank you!

I am pretty happy with this place. They have a good variety of quality meat for you to choose from, they also have salad bar and some ready made food for you to consume right away. Their drinks include soda, iced tea and so on. Their service is good. Our server made sure we have enough food and soup. This is a rather new place and it is spacious. I like their simple decoration. It deserves my 5 stars.

Fresh, delicious, clean, & organized. Went on a weekday night with my family, a large group, and we had great seating and attentive service throughout our time. Bone broth was a wonderful base and the vegetables and meats to choose from were great quality. It felt good to know and to my belly that what I was eating looked fresh & getting the items is refreshing since it is so clean! Variety of meats to choose from and the style cut of is enjoyable and easy to eat that way you can try a little bit of each. I personally enjoyed how they had the vegetables and sauces mirrored on the end of the food selection area to create a good flow having people spread out and not overflowing on one specific area and station for sauces & veggies. Appreciate that efficiency. Servers are helpful and friendly. Attentive with what we needed and refilling our broth when they noticed it was lower. They had a great system going and work diligently to keep the stations and our tables organized! We had one family member who is vegetarian and he asked a server what he could and couldn’t eat and he took it upon himself to give a walk through of each item that would be okay or not. Really appreciate that thoughtfulness and consideration so he could have an enjoyable experience. The soft serve ice cream machine was a great additional touch that made us all excited & we enjoyed the treat! Last night was my first time trying it and I am so happy it was such a wonderful experience I will definitely be back with my family & tell people about it. Ample parking in the plaza and several other shops and sprouts to browse after to digest your meal or before if the wait time is longer. More prime shops on Main Street are located outside of the plaza too. Great spot thank you Alhambra team!

This all-you-can-eat Shabu restaurant is located in a convenient area with a nice, spacious building. The interior is well-designed, offering ample room for diners. They feature two identical menu bar sections, which helps with accessibility and reduces wait times. One of the highlights is their extensive selection of seafood, which adds great variety to the dining experience. Overall, it’s a pretty good restaurant and worth a visit!

Very good selection of broths to select from, and a large buffet of Korean side dishes, hot entrees, and many items to place into the steamy broths, served in a personal hot pot. There is a 90-minute all-you-can-order on the meat time limit. Very good selection of meats to select from. Meat is excellent quality, but slices are small.

AYCE Hotpot with 90 minutes limit. You can only order three plates of meat at a time. They put very little meat on each plate. The servers barely came to our table. I had to wave multiple times to get their attention. It does come with unlimited soft drinks and ice creams. There was cooked food like Korean spicy rice cake, japchae, fried chicken, but they were cold.

We had an awesome experience at this all you can eat shabu restaurant. Such a great price for essentially everything you can want. Their seafood options aren’t that extensive but the meat selection was great as well as all of the sides you could dream of. We really enjoyed the ribeye and the chuck. For the broth I mixed a couple, and for 90 minutes maximum stay, you will be beyond satisfied. Service was great, clean restaurant. Definitely will be back!
